Life Skills

Life-skills are the essentials that assist us with dealing with changes and challenges of life. Our curriculum focuses on three major skills in which all other skills are developed.
1. Communication
2. Decision Making
3. Goal Setting

After comprehending these initials skills students learn the important concepts like conflict resolution, controlling emotions, handling peer pressure, getting organized, maintaining a positive attitude, responsibility, stress management, study and test taking tips, and SO MUCH MORE!
We understand that some students learn by seeing, some by hearing, and some by doing. Allow us to show up and provide a fun and engaging learning environment for your students.

Our 13-week course delivered in person and online covers various aspects crucial for personal growth and success. Here is a brief overview of a few areas:

  1. Decision Making
  2. Goal Setting
  3. Self-Management
  4. Conflict Resolution
  5. Positive Self-Image
  6. Communication

Our curriculum is normally taught in two one-hour sessions per week or one two-hour session per week which maintains engagement, consistency, and makes it easier for participants to integrate the learning into their routine. We incorporate practical exercises, case studies, and real-life examples to make the sessions interactive and applicable. Students are encouraged to share their experiences and challenges, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Attendance and assessments assist with evaluation of our students to tailor the course if needed. Our program supports the needs of the student, family, and a community as a whole. All materials included.
